Description of the role and key functions: A Captain with an Unlimited Captain’s Certificate of Competency is required to command a diving support vessel (DSV) under the flag of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, within the Israel Project. The candidate must ensure safe navigation and Dynamic Positioning (DP) operations in sensitive offshore areas. Their functions include coordinating bridge and deck personnel, overseeing vessel operations during diving support activities, and ensuring compliance with HSE policies.

Requirements and qualifications: Valid Unlimited Captain’s Certificate of Competency with full DP certification. Demonstrated experience as a Captain on DSV or offshore DP vessels. Advanced knowledge of DP operations and offshore project requirements. Fluency in Italian and English. Leadership, decision-making, and communication skills. Availability to embark from Ortona in mid-September 2025.

Additional details: Joining Port: Ortona, Italy, in mid-September 2025. Contract Duration: Approximately 2 months (+/- 20 days). Competitive salary package with substantial bonuses for DP operations. Potential for future integration into the vessel’s long-term rotation scheme.
