Description of the position: A temporary vacancy is available for the position of Third Engineering Officer aboard a research vessel. The vessel operates in the waters of the United Kingdom and Iceland. The main responsibilities include the maintenance and operation of machinery systems, ensuring efficient and safe operation of the vessel during the research mission.
Requirements and qualifications: Candidates must have the following certifications and documents: Issued Naval Engineer Officer Watchkeeper (EOOW) Title by the United Kingdom. Seafarer Medical Certificate. Full STCW training. Designated Security Functions Certificate. Valid British passport.
