Job Description and Key Responsibilities: We are looking for an Officer in Charge of Engineering for a container ship operating in the northwest navigation area of Europe. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, motivated, and communicative, with an interest in working on a stable rotation of 8 weeks of work followed by 8 weeks of rest. Main functions will include supervision and management of the ship’s engineering systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation of the onboard equipment.
Requirements and Qualifications: Previous experience as an Officer in Charge of Engineering Watch on commercial vessels, preferably container ships. Strong communication and leadership skills. Motivation and enthusiasm for work in the maritime sector.
