A Third Engineer is required to join a general cargo ship of 6,050 DWT, built in 2010 and fitted with a MAK 9M25C main engine. The vessel will operate under an unspecified flag, and the position is open to Ukrainian crew members. The engine room complement consists of a Chief Engineer and three Third Engineers, providing a technically demanding working environment.
The successful candidate will perform engine room watches and assist in the preventive and corrective maintenance of propulsion and auxiliary systems. A Third Engineer certificate of competency and previous experience on general cargo vessels are essential. Knowledge of MAK engines and the ability to work well within a team are highly valued.
