An Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) is required to join a bulk carrier on 20 November. The contract will last 4 months, plus or minus 1 month. The salary offered is 6,000 to 6,500 USD per month. Good English and experience in the rank are required.
Under the STCW Convention, the Electro-Technical Officer is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the ship's electrical and electronic systems, including navigation, communication and automation equipment. They must also ensure compliance with safety regulations and participate in engine watches when necessary.
