Boluda Terminales Marítimas is seeking a Maintenance Technician to carry out electromechanical maintenance work on machinery at the Port of Santander. The main duties include reviewing preventive and corrective maintenance of port equipment such as STS cranes, tractor heads, reach stackers, container platforms, forklifts and aerial work platforms, among others.
The role requires training in electromechanics and previous experience in maintaining port machinery. A fixed-term contract is offered with a leading company in the maritime and port sector.
According to the STCW Convention, typical duties of a maintenance technician in port facilities include checking electrical and mechanical systems, conducting periodic inspections and repairing faults to ensure equipment operability. In addition, knowledge of SOLAS and MLC 2006 regulations is advisable to ensure compliance with safety standards and working conditions in the maritime environment.
