A Motorman is required to join a seismic research support vessel with DP2 dynamic positioning system. The contract will last 6 weeks, with a variation of ±2 weeks, and the operating area will be Brazil. The start date is scheduled for 8 November. The salary offered is 180 EUR per day.
The candidate must have solid experience in the rank, preferably on diving support vessels (DSV), seismic support vessels (SSV) or seismic research support vessels with DP2. Under the STCW Convention, the Motorman is part of the engine department and performs watches, maintenance and repairs of propulsion and auxiliary equipment, under the supervision of the Chief Engineer.
This position is aimed at professionals with the necessary qualifications and certification to perform the duties of Motorman in accordance with international maritime regulations.
