A Chief Engineer is required to join a general cargo ship. The joining date is scheduled for 11-12 November. A Schengen visa is not required. The salary offered is 7,800 to 8,200 USD per month. Under the STCW Convention, the Chief Engineer is responsible for the supervision and maintenance of the ship's propulsion and auxiliary systems, as well as the management of the engine department personnel. They must also ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Experience on general cargo ships is valued.
