An Able Seafarer (AB) is required to join a bunkering vessel, with embarkation expected within a week. The contract will run for 4 months, plus or minus 1 month, and the salary offered is 1,600 USD per month. A good command of English and previous experience in the rank are required.
Under the STCW Convention, an Able Seafarer holds a watchkeeping role on deck, assists with mooring and unmooring operations and supports the fuel transfer operations typical of a bunkering vessel. The role also involves general maintenance and upkeep of the ship under the supervision of the deck officer.
