An Able Seafarer (AB) is required to join a chemical tanker of 6,539 DWT, built in 2003 with a main engine power of 3,360 kW. The vessel, named OKTAN, operates under the flag of Ukraine and the contracting company is Cymare Ukraine SC. The offered salary is 2,500 USD per month. The contract will be for a fixed term, in line with the usual conditions for this type of vessel.
The Able Seafarer will perform deck watches, maintenance and cleaning of equipment, and assist in mooring and cargo operations. STCW II/4 certification and previous experience on chemical tankers are required. Valid maritime documentation is essential.
Under the STCW Convention, the Able Seafarer must be competent to perform navigational watches and comply with safety and security regulations. The vessel type requires familiarity with chemical cargo handling procedures and specific safety measures.
