We are looking for a First Officer DPO to join a seismic research support vessel equipped with a DP2 dynamic positioning system. The start date is 8 November, with a contract duration of 6 weeks (+/- 2 weeks). The operating area is Brazil and the day rate is EUR 340.
The successful candidate must hold a DP Unlimited certificate and have previous experience in rank on board diving support vessels (DSV), seismic support vessels (SSV) or seismic research vessels. Experience on DP2 vessels is essential. Under STCW, the First Officer is responsible for navigational watches and, on this type of vessel, for operating the dynamic positioning system during seismic acquisition operations.
Duties include deck supervision, coordination of support operations and assisting the Master with safety and crew management. Valid maritime documentation and availability to join on the indicated date are required.
