A Second Officer is required to join a multipurpose general cargo ship. The salary is negotiable in net euros, and the joining date is as soon as possible, expected in week 46 or 47. The contract duration is 3 months, with rotational employment. The candidate must hold valid STCW certificates, have a good command of English, and experience in rank on similar fleets. Typical duties of the Second Officer include navigational watches, cargo supervision, and ship maintenance, under the authority of the Captain and Chief Officer. According to the STCW Convention, the Second Officer must be certified to perform navigational watches and meet the established training and experience requirements.
