An Able Seaman is required to join a reefer vessel of 1,150 GT, built in 1978, under Greek management. The boarding is scheduled for mid-November 2026, with a 5-month contract. The salary offered is 1,800 to 2,000 USD per month, negotiable. No agency fees apply and the crew is mixed, comprising Ukrainians, Latvians, Lithuanians and Estonians.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience on the same type of vessel. Under the STCW Convention, the Able Seaman must hold the relevant certificate of competence (Regulation II/4) and the basic safety training certificate. Duties include deck watches, general maintenance of the vessel, handling of mooring lines and rigging, as well as assisting in cargo operations.
This position is aimed at seafarers with valid documentation and availability to board on the indicated date. Experience on reefer vessels and the ability to integrate into a multinational crew will be valued.
