We are seeking a Third Engineer to join an LNG Carrier with embarkation port in Riga, Latvia. The contract duration is 3 months and the offered salary is 8,400 USD per month. Embarkation is scheduled for mid-November.
The successful candidate will perform engine room watches and be responsible for the maintenance of propulsion and auxiliary systems, as well as the specific equipment of an LNG carrier. A Third Engineer certificate of competency and previous experience on LNG carriers are essential.
Under the STCW Convention, the Third Engineer must hold the appropriate certificate of competency and be up to date with basic and advanced safety training. Additionally, the vessel operates under the International Safety Management (ISM) Code and MARPOL regulations, so knowledge of these standards is valued.
