A Second Engineer is required to join an Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessel at the end of November. The ship is equipped with a Wartsila 8L26 main engine and two 3,650 BHP auxiliary engines. The contract duration is 2 months, and the joining port is to be confirmed, either Varna or Malta. The salary is negotiable. The candidate must have previous experience on AHTS vessels and hold the STCW III/2 certification as Second Engineer. According to the STCW convention, duties include engine room watches, maintenance of propulsion and auxiliary systems, and assistance in typical AHTS operations such as towing and supply.
