A Second Engineer is required for a temporary vacancy on board a DP2 platform supply vessel operating in Europe. Candidates must hold a Second Engineer (Unlimited) UK CoC or UK flag state endorsement, along with valid STCW certification as required for the rank. Previous experience as Second Engineer on UK or EU based offshore vessels is essential. There is potential for this position to become long term or permanent.
Mobilisation is scheduled for 28th November 2026, with a duration of 4 days handover plus 5 weeks on board. A day rate is offered, subject to UK Tax and National Insurance deductions. Travel within the UK and EU is provided. Under the STCW Convention, the Second Engineer is responsible for engine room watches and assists the Chief Engineer in the maintenance and operation of propulsion and auxiliary systems, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental protection regulations.
