Full description

We are looking for a skipper for a small service vessel operating in the North Sea and the Baltic. The vessel carries out cable laying, small construction projects, pipelaying and maintenance. The company is interested in a long-term cooperation through permanent rotation. The start date is 20 November, with an initial duration of 3 to 4 weeks. Requirements include a minimum of an Officer of the Watch (OOW) certificate, experience as a skipper on smaller vessels, valid STCW safety courses and a valid seafarer's medical certificate. A hands-on personality is valued. The offer includes a small and tight-knit crew, dynamic daily routines, autonomy with responsibility and the opportunity to work on a unique vessel. Under the STCW Convention, the skipper of a diving support vessel must hold the appropriate qualifications and keep safety courses up to date, including sea survival, firefighting and first aid. In addition, the SOLAS Code and the MLC 2006 establish the safety requirements and the living and working conditions on board.
