Balearia is seeking to recruit a Port Operations Agent for its delegation in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, on a permanent ordinary contract. The position is open to candidates with no previous experience, as full training will be provided by the company.
The role involves coordinating port operations for the company's passenger vessels, including managing calls, documentation and administrative procedures with port authorities. Under STCW and Spanish port regulations, the agent acts as a liaison between the ship and shore services, overseeing compliance with safety and security procedures (SOLAS/ISPS).
Residence in the area and availability to work in a dynamic port environment will be valued. The start date is immediate and the contract is permanent, with working conditions set by the relevant collective agreement.
