An experienced Chief Officer is required to join a Ro-Ro cargo ship. The contract offers a rotation of 2 to 3 months on board and 2 to 3 months off, with a salary of 5,500 EUR net per month plus a 500 EUR bonus. The joining date is scheduled for 20 November. Accommodation and travel are arranged and covered by the company.
The candidate must have experience in the rank and on similar vessel types, a good command of English and valid STCW certificates. The ability to supervise deck operations, coordinate the loading and unloading of rolling cargo and manage the ship's safety and maintenance will be valued.
Under the STCW Convention, the Chief Officer is responsible for the navigational watch and the safety of the ship, as well as the training and supervision of the deck crew. Experience on Ro-Ro ships is essential to ensure proper stowage and securing of cargo.
