We are urgently seeking a Chief Officer / Senior Dynamic Positioning Operator (SDPO) to join a Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) with DP2 system, currently located in Mozambique. The joining date is 15th November and the contract duration is 2 months. The salary offered is 350 USD per day. The candidate must have extensive experience as a DP operator on PSV DP2 vessels, as well as mandatory experience on L-Class vessels. A good command of English is also required for communication on board and with clients. Under STCW, the SDPO is responsible for dynamic positioning operations and the safety of the vessel during such operations. Typical duties include bridge watches, operating the DP system, supervising cargo operations and coordinating with the crew. Previous experience on this type of vessel and in Mozambican waters is valued. Required documentation includes a certificate of competency, DPO certificate and maritime medical certificate.
