A Second Engineer is required to join a bulk carrier. The offered salary is 8,000 USD per month. This position is exclusively for Ukrainian citizens who are abroad and able to cross the border legally. The hiring company is Epsilon Maritime Services, based in Odessa, Ukraine.
The Second Engineer is responsible for engine room watches and assists the Chief Engineer in the maintenance and operation of propulsion and auxiliary systems. Under the STCW Convention, the successful candidate must hold the appropriate Certificate of Competency and meet the training and experience requirements for cargo ships. Typical duties include supervising lubrication, cooling, and power generation systems, as well as managing junior engine department personnel.
