Full description

A Third Officer / DPO is required to join a Diving Support Vessel (DSV) with DP3 dynamic positioning system, 12,652 GT, built in 2016 and flagged in Norway. The vessel is equipped with a 250-tonne AHC crane and will operate in the North Sea. The salary is 240 EUR per day and the contract duration is 4 weeks, with a joining date of 18th November. The candidate must hold an Officer of the Watch License, HUET with CA-EBS and DP Full certificates. A minimum experience of 12 months on board MPSV/OCV/DSV types of vessels in the rank of Third Officer/DPO is required. Additionally, candidates must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Under STCW, the Third Officer performs navigational watches under the supervision of the Master and senior officers, and in this case also acts as DPO, operating the dynamic positioning system to maintain the vessel's position during diving operations. As a DP3 vessel, it has redundancy in propulsion and control systems, requiring a thorough understanding of safety and emergency procedures.
