A Dock Supervisor and Tug Control position is available on a permanent, full-time basis in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The successful candidate will supervise dock operations and coordinate the control of tugs operating in the port area, ensuring that all manoeuvres are carried out safely and efficiently.
The role requires a middle-grade vocational qualification and previous experience in supervising port operations or tug control. A sound knowledge of berthing and unberthing procedures and strict adherence to established safety procedures are essential.
In line with STCW and applicable port regulations, dock supervision duties involve liaising with tug masters, overseeing mooring operations and verifying that the vessel's and the dock's safety equipment are operational before each manoeuvre.
