Full description

Stargate Crewing Agency is seeking experienced crew members for one of its partners operating Ro-Ro vessels on UK-UK trading routes. The available positions are Second Engineer, Third Engineer, Able Seafarer (AB), Fitter and Motorman. A Frontier Worker Permit (FWP) is mandatory, as is previous experience on Ro-Ro vessels, a good command of English, and valid STCW certificates and medical fitness. The contract offers a rotation of 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off, with a competitive salary paid during the onboard period. Under STCW, engine officers must hold the appropriate certificate of competency and perform watches in accordance with international standards; ratings such as AB, fitter and motorman must have the basic and specialised training required for Ro-Ro ships, including familiarisation with roll-on/roll-off cargo and securing systems.
