A Third Engineer is required to join a crude oil tanker of 161,762 DWT, built in 2011 in South Korea. The contract will be for 4 months plus 1 month of vacation, with a salary of 4,500 USD per month plus a 750 USD embarkation bonus. Boarding is scheduled for November.
The candidate must have at least 12 months of experience in the rank, good English and previous experience on crude oil tankers. Under the STCW Convention, the Third Engineer stands engine room watches and assists in the maintenance of propulsion and auxiliary systems, as well as in cargo operations, complying with safety and pollution prevention regulations under MARPOL.
