A Second Officer is required to join a crude oil tanker of 161,762 DWT, built in 2011 in South Korea. The contract will be for 4 months plus 1 month of vacation, with a salary of 4,500 USD per month plus a 750 USD bonus. Boarding is scheduled for November. The candidate must have at least 12 months of experience in the rank, good English and previous experience on tankers. According to the STCW Convention, the Second Officer is responsible for navigational watches, the safety of the ship and assisting the Captain and Chief Officer. Additionally, they must be familiar with emergency procedures and pollution prevention.
