A Third Officer is required to join an expedition vessel in February. The contract will last for 6 months, plus or minus 1 month. The salary offered is 3,600 to 3,900 USD per month. Under the STCW Convention, the Third Officer is responsible for navigational watches and the safety of the vessel, as well as assisting with deck duties and the maintenance of navigation equipment. On an expedition vessel, they may also be involved in supporting exploration activities and attending to passengers in remote environments.
