Full description

A Third Officer is required to join a crude oil tanker of 157,488 DWT, built in 2010 in South Korea. The contract will last 4 months plus 1 month of vacation, with a salary of 3,500 to 4,000 USD per month. Boarding is scheduled for November. The candidate must have at least 12 months of experience in the rank, good English and previous experience on crude oil tankers. Under the STCW Convention, the Third Officer performs navigational watches on the bridge, assists in cargo loading and unloading operations, and helps supervise safety and fire-fighting equipment, as well as general maintenance of the vessel. The contracting company is STMA Odessa. Valid maritime documentation is required, including a certificate of competence, basic safety training and specific tanker training (STCW V/1-1).
