A Second Officer is required to join a crude oil tanker of 157,488 DWT, built in 2010 in South Korea. The contract will be for 4 months plus 1 month of leave, with boarding scheduled for November. The salary offered is 4,500 USD per month, plus a bonus of 750 USD. The candidate must have at least 12 months of experience in the rank, good English and previous experience on crude oil tankers. According to STCW, the Second Officer is responsible for navigational watches, ship safety and maintenance of navigation equipment, under the supervision of the Captain and the Chief Officer. The contracting company is STMA Odessa. Valid maritime documentation is required, including certificate of competence, basic safety training and tanker specialty.
