Full description

A Third Officer is required to join a Panamax bulk carrier of 92,524 DWT, built in 2007 in South Korea. The contract will be for 4 months plus 2 months of leave, with joining expected in November. The salary offered is 3,200 to 3,500 USD per month, or the equivalent in euros. The candidate must have at least 12 months of experience in the rank, good English and previous experience on the same type of vessel. Under the STCW Convention, the Third Officer is responsible for navigational watches, the safety of the ship and supervision of deck equipment, under the authority of the Master and the Chief Officer. The contracting company is STMA Odessa. Experience on Panamax vessels and availability to join on the indicated date will be valued.
