Balteam Crewing Agency is looking for a Third Officer to join the UECC fleet, specifically the M/V AUTO ACHIEVE, a container ship under the Portuguese flag. The trading area is Europe and the joining date is scheduled for 10 November 2026. A fixed rotation of 2 months on board and 2 months off is offered, with a mixed crew.
The first contract will be temporary, with a salary of EUR 4,033 per month on board. From the second contract onwards, the employment will be permanent with a salary of EUR 3,206 per month, paid both on board and during leave. Experience as a Third Officer is required, preferably on RO-RO or RO-PAX vessels, as well as a valid IGF Basic Certificate or a valid Basic LNG Certificate eligible for conversion to an IGF Basic Certificate by the Maritime Office. Good English is also required.
According to the STCW Convention, the Third Officer is responsible for navigational watches under the supervision of the Master and the Chief Officer, as well as for the safety of the ship and crew. Experience on container ships and the possession of specific certifications, such as IGF for ships using gas as fuel, are highly valued in the industry.
