The Port Authority of the Bay of Cádiz is holding a selection process to fill eight positions of Port Police Officer as permanent staff, subject to the III Collective Agreement for State Ports and Port Authorities. Successful candidates will carry out surveillance, control and security duties within the port area, helping to protect the public port domain and regulate port activities.
The selection process will include theoretical and practical tests, as well as a personal interview. Applicants must hold a Bachillerato (upper secondary education) or equivalent second-level vocational training qualification, and a category B driving licence. The call is open to Spanish and European Union citizens who meet the requirements set out in the rules.
Under the III Collective Agreement for State Ports and Port Authorities, working conditions will be governed by the provisions of that agreement, which covers aspects such as working hours, pay and career progression. Passing the selection process will lead to a permanent employment contract.
