We are looking for a Second Officer to join a split hopper dredger, starting on 4 November for a contract duration of 5 weeks. The vessel is located in Portugal. Previous experience on similar vessels, particularly dredgers, is required. The salary is not specified in the offer.
Under the STCW Convention, the Second Officer is responsible for navigational watches and assists the Captain and Chief Officer with deck duties. On a dredger, they also support the supervision of dredging operations and the maintenance of associated equipment. A valid STCW certificate and a maritime medical certificate are essential.
