Full description

Seaworthy Consulting is seeking a Crane Operator to join a Diving Support Vessel (DSV) in Northeast England. The contract is for approximately 2 to 4 weeks, with a day rate of £423.91 and an immediate start date. Candidates must have previous experience working on DSV vessels and hold the required certifications: Crane Operator Level 3, Shoulder Measurements, BOSIET/FOET with CA EBS, AB and Designated Security Duties tickets. Applicants must also have the right to work in the UK. Under STCW, crane operators are required to be familiar with safe lifting procedures, load handling, communication signals and personal protective equipment. On a DSV, the crane is used for deploying and recovering diving equipment, bells and supplies, so specific training and experience in such operations are essential. The SOLAS and MLC 2006 regulations set additional requirements for working conditions and safety on board, which the successful candidate will be expected to comply with. This position is suited to qualified professionals available for immediate deployment.
