We are seeking Dynamic Positioning Operators (DPOs) for various offshore positions in the UK sector, working on semi-submersible drilling rigs and drillships. The role requires previous experience on drilling rigs and a valid DP Operator certificate under STCW, along with a Certificate of Competency (CoC) and GMDSS. Candidates must also hold offshore survival training, an OEUK medical certificate, and a UK or EU passport.
The main duties include operating the dynamic positioning system to maintain the vessel's position during drilling operations, monitoring propulsion and positioning systems, and coordinating with the drilling team to ensure safety and efficiency. As per STCW, DPOs must maintain the required standards of competence and perform watchkeeping duties, ensuring compliance with safety and emergency procedures.
