A Second Engineer is required to join an LPG carrier with a mixed crew. The joining date is as soon as possible and the contract duration is 4 months, plus or minus 1 month. The salary offered is USD 9,570 per month, plus a rejoining bonus of USD 250.
The candidate must have good English and demonstrate professional knowledge and skills, with previous experience on LPG carriers. Typical duties of the Second Engineer include engine room watches, supervision of maintenance of propulsion and auxiliary systems, and assistance to the Chief Engineer. Under the STCW Convention, the appropriate certificate of competency and tanker endorsement for liquefied gas carriers are required.
The position is open to Ukrainian nationals, as the location indicated is Ukraine. A 4-month contract is offered with the possibility of rejoining and an additional bonus for doing so.
