We are urgently seeking a Master to join an LPG tanker in the BW Epic Kosan fleet. The contract duration is 4 months (+/-1) and the salary is 11,555 USD per month on a fully pressurised basis, or 12,555 USD per month on a semi-refrigerated basis, plus a re-joining bonus of 300 USD. The crew is mixed and good English and professional knowledge/skills are essential.
The Master will take command of the vessel and be responsible for the safety of the crew, cargo and environment, ensuring compliance with international conventions (SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW). They will oversee cargo operations, navigation and vessel maintenance, as well as crew management and training.
Under STCW, the Master must hold a valid certificate of competence and have proven experience on tankers. Previous experience on LPG carriers and advanced knowledge of cargo and safety systems are highly valued.
