A Third Engineer is required to join an LPG carrier of the BW Epic Kosan fleet. The contract duration is 6 months (+/- 1 month) and the salary is 4,273 USD per month, including a re-joining bonus of 200 USD. Joining is ASAP and the crew is mixed. Good English and strong professional knowledge are essential.
Under the STCW Convention, the Third Engineer must hold a Certificate of Competence III/1 and the basic and tanker specialty training certificates. Duties include engine room watches, maintenance of propulsion and auxiliary systems, and assistance in LPG cargo operations, always complying with safety and environmental regulations.
The vessel operates in international waters, so compliance with IMO requirements and valid maritime documentation is necessary. A 6-month contract with possibility of renewal and a professional working environment are offered.
