An Able Seafarer (AB) is required to join an Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessel in the Black Sea. The start date is scheduled for 1st November and the contract will last for 4 weeks. Previous experience on AHTS vessels is essential, and Romanian nationals are preferred.
Under the STCW Convention, the Able Seafarer must hold a Certificate of Competence as Able Seafarer Deck (STCW II/4) and a Basic Safety Training certificate (STCW VI/1). Typical duties include deck watches, handling ropes and rigging, and assisting in anchor handling and towing operations typical of an AHTS.
The vessel will operate in the Black Sea area, so valid maritime documentation and medical fitness are recommended.
