A Second Engineer is required to join an Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessel in Taiwan. The joining date is as soon as possible. The vessel, flagged in the Netherlands, is equipped with two Mitsubishi S12U MPTK main engines with a total power of 4,456 kW and a gross tonnage of 332 GT. EU passport holders are preferred due to visa restrictions, subject to confirmation of entry requirements.
The Second Engineer will work under the supervision of the Chief Engineer, performing engine room watches and assisting in the maintenance of propulsion and auxiliary systems. In accordance with STCW, the successful candidate must hold the appropriate certificate of competency and be familiar with onboard safety and emergency procedures.
This position is aimed at professionals with experience on offshore support vessels, although no minimum years of experience are specified. The contract will be for a determined duration, typical for this type of vessel, and no additional benefits are mentioned.
