A Third Officer is required to join a bulk carrier. The contract will last for 4 months, plus or minus 1 month, and the salary offered ranges from 2,800 to 3,100 USD per month. Applications are coordinated via info@staff-service-expert.com.
Under the STCW Convention (Regulation II/1), the Third Officer must be certified to perform navigational watches and carry out the typical duties of the deck department: passage planning and execution, safety supervision, operation of navigation equipment and assistance with cargo operations. Compliance with SOLAS and MLC 2006 standards regarding safety and living conditions on board is also required.
The candidate must hold the relevant nautical qualification and keep all required maritime documentation valid for embarkation.
