Full description

We are seeking an experienced Second Engineer to join a DP1 offshore support vessel based in Egypt. The joining date is mid-November 2026, with a rotation of 2 months on / 2 months off. Salary is not specified in the offer. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in offshore supply operations and a good command of English. An Italian flag endorsement is an advantage, as are previous contracts on Italian-flagged vessels. Romanian candidates are preferred due to potentially easier processing of flag-state documentation. Under the STCW Convention, the Second Engineer must hold a certificate of competency in accordance with Regulation III/2 and is responsible for engine room watches, maintenance of propulsion and auxiliary systems, and assisting in vessel operations, including offshore supply duties. They must also comply with safety and emergency procedures.
