A Chief Officer is required to join the container ship ZIM IBERIA, 50,300 DWT, built in 2009. The offered salary is 8,500 USD per month. A minimum of 10 months of experience on the same type of vessel and good English are essential.
The Chief Officer is responsible for the navigational watch and deck supervision, including cargo management and ship maintenance. Under the STCW Convention, the officer must hold the appropriate certificate of competency and be up to date with mandatory training courses.
