Full description

Grupo TRAGSA offers 44 positions for university graduates with a maritime, port and/or logistics profile, including that of Scientific Observer on board Spanish-flagged fishing trawlers operating in non-Spanish waters of the Central-Eastern Atlantic (West Africa). The engagement will be under a fixed-term contract linked to the observation campaign. The role requires a university degree in Marine Navigation or an equivalent high-level qualification, as well as availability to embark and perform scientific observation duties on board. Under the STCW Convention, personnel embarking must hold basic maritime safety training and the relevant certificates, although the offer does not detail these requirements. The main duties include collecting and recording fishing activity data, complying with observation protocols and preparing reports. Previous experience in the maritime or fishing sector will be valued. The salary is not specified in the offer.
