A Third Officer is required to join a container ship equipped with dual-fuel (DF) systems. The contract will last 4 or 6 months, with a flexibility of +/- 1 month, and the salary starts from 3,100 USD per month. The joining date is scheduled from 10 November 2026.
The Third Officer will perform navigational watches under the supervision of the Officer of the Watch, assist in the safety of the vessel and participate in routine operations. Previous experience on container ships and knowledge of dual-fuel systems are required. According to the STCW Convention, the Third Officer must hold the appropriate certificate of competency and comply with the training and certification requirements for deck officers.
Typical duties include keeping navigational watches, supervising safety systems and assisting with maintenance and cargo operations. The selected candidate will join an international crew and must hold valid maritime documentation.
