A Second Officer is required to join a container ship. The salary offered is 4,200 to 4,400 USD per month. The joining date will be confirmed after the interview. The crew mix is mostly Ukrainian.
The Second Officer is responsible for navigational watches, passage planning, cargo supervision and maintenance of bridge equipment. Previous experience on container ships and valid maritime documentation are required.
Under the STCW Convention, the Second Officer must hold a certificate of competency II/2 and be up to date with basic training courses. Working conditions comply with the MLC 2006.
