Full description

A Second Engineer is required to join a container and Ro-Ro ship managed by Navis Ship Management. The contract duration is 4 months +/- 1 month, with a salary of 8,480 USD per month. The joining date is at the end of November, and the vessel operates worldwide. The candidate must hold a Second Engineer's Licence, have completed an English test within the last three months, and have at least 24 months of experience in the rank on similar vessels. Experience with 4-stroke engines is mandatory. Full Covid-19 vaccination is required. Under STCW, the Second Engineer is responsible for engine room watches, maintenance of propulsion and auxiliary systems, and supervision of engine department personnel. Required documents include an updated CV, COC and endorsement, valid STCW certificates, passport, seaman's book, references, and a medical certificate.
