A Pumpman is required to join an oil tanker (bunkering) with a joining port in Riga. The contract will last for 4 months and the salary offered is 2,800 euros per month. Joining is as soon as possible.
The Pumpman is responsible for cargo loading and discharging operations, operating the pumps and controlling fuel transfers while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Previous experience on tankers and the relevant STCW certification, including basic training and tanker familiarisation under STCW V/1-1, are required.
According to STCW, the typical duties of a Pumpman include engine room and deck watches, maintenance of pumping equipment and participation in cargo operations. The candidate must hold valid maritime documents and be available to join immediately.
