Full description

We are currently seeking an experienced Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to join an Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessel operating in Tunisian waters. The joining date is at the beginning of December, and the contract will last for 2 months. The vessel operates in the Tunisia area, and proven offshore experience in rank on similar vessel types is required. The successful candidate must hold a DP Maintenance certificate, valid STCW documents, a medical certificate, and relevant certificates. A good command of English is also required. Typical duties of the ETO include the maintenance and operation of the ship's electrical and electronic systems, as well as assisting in AHTS operations. Under the STCW Convention, the Electro-Technical Officer must meet the training and certification requirements set out in Regulation III/6 for electro-technical officers. Experience on AHTS vessels with dynamic positioning (DP) systems is highly valued, as these units carry out anchor handling and supply operations offshore that require high precision.
