We are looking for an experienced Second Engineer to join an Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessel operating in Tunisian waters. The joining date is at the beginning of December, with a 2-month contract. The vessel operates in the Tunisia area and requires proven offshore experience in rank on similar vessel types.
The successful candidate will perform engine room watches, assist in the maintenance of propulsion and auxiliary systems, and participate in anchor handling and towing operations. Valid STCW documents, a medical certificate, and relevant certificates are essential, along with a good command of English. DP Maintenance certification is required.
Under the STCW Convention, the Second Engineer must meet the training and certification requirements for engineer officers, including safety and pollution prevention training. As an AHTS vessel, it supports offshore platform operations, so familiarity with safety procedures for such operations is necessary.
